- The argument is semantical. Being "creative" or "innovative" is relative and often times subjective. Is the design of a motherboard less creative than a Matisse? Or a successful RFP vs. a hit song? Depends who you talk to. There are so many reasons for acquisition and many we don't hear about.

- While I agree that asians (including Koreans) tend to apply a serious degree of personal honor to all their endeavors, great or small, i think Suzuki's comments are tinged with a cultural acrimony that exists between the Japanese and their neighbors.
